Patricia Ann Paynter -- Patricia Ann Paynter of Millsboro, passed away at her home on Sunday, Nov. Born at Beebe Hospital, she always called herself the “Beebe Baby.” She was the daughter of the late John “Jack” Robinson Buchanan Lawton and Catherine Ingram Lawton.In her earlier years, she was a bank teller at Sussex Trust Bank in Lewes. Patricia founded Cape Henlopen Christian Fellowship in Rehoboth.
She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Becky was loved by many and will be sorely missed by all of her family and friends. and his son, David Wage and wife Pam of Simpsonville, S. He is also survived by his sisters, Blanche Hitchens of Laurel and Ida Ponton of St. Arrangements are in the care of Hannigan, Short, Disharoon Funeral Home, Laurel. He built or rebuilt homes, cars, campers, lawnmowers, and telescopes. He also became a pastor and evangelist ministering in local churches, prisons and various teen challenge centers throughout Delaware, Maryland and Virginia.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Pauline Winters; a sister-in-law, Virginia Layfield; and brothers-in-law, John Winters and Bruce Truitt. Petersburg, Fla.; his brother-in-law, Frank Wolf of Stockton, Md.; and many nieces and nephews. In retirement he designed and built a house in Adolphus, Ky., from the ground up with no detail left untouched by his hand. 11, at Seaford Presbyterian Church, 701 Bridgeville Hwy., Seaford. John loved hunting, camping, fishing, traveling, and enjoyed playing poker at the Poker Club. Wayne would witness to anyone that would listen (and to some that refused) about Jesus Christ and helped lead hundreds and hundreds of people to the Lord.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Donald F. Becky’s experience working in restaurant kitchens made her home a delicious place to dine. According to her niece, Becky’s fresh ground coffee was the best on the east coast. Throughout his life, Jim always had a project going. He then opened several stores selling coins, jewelry, stamps and sports memorabilia.
