In April 2015, Teigen became a co-host on Spike TV's Lip Sync Battle alongside LL Cool J.The original video for Keith Urban and Carrie Underwood's duet "The Fighter" featured an impressive dance sequence from a lone female dancer.
She made her debut in the annual Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue in 2010 and, alongside Nina Agdal and Lily Aldridge, appeared on the cover in 2014.She co-hosts Lip Sync Battle with LL Cool J on Spike TV and joined the lifestyle panel talk show FABLife. Now, Urban has shared an alternate version of the clip that hews closer to the track's duet sensibilities by incorporating another dancer. In the new production, dancer Lyle Beniga joins the video's original dancer (and Beniga's girlfriend), Lindsay Richardson. Before Idol, Richardson was a kitchen supervisor for a Hooters restaurant. His favorite male singers include Jason Mraz, Justin Timberlake, James Brown, and Michael Jackson.
His favorite female artists are early 1990s Mariah Carey, and Christina Aguilera. Richardson had auditioned for American Idol in two previous seasons before being cast on season 6.
Other side projects include designing a capsule collection with swimwear designer Di Neila Brazil (which debuted at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim in Miami in the summer of 2011) and appearing as a featured character in the 2011 EA Sports video game Need For Speed: The Run.
When not working in the world of fashion modeling, Teigen is a cook and writer.
Her campaigns include Gillette Venus, Olay, Nike, Skullcandy headphones, Gap Factory, XOXO, UGG Australia, Rock and Republic, Billabong, Beach Bunny Swimwear (for whom she was also a fashion week correspondent), and Nine West Fashion Targets Breast Cancer.
She has also served as a recurring guest host and contributor on E!
While there's no images of Urban or Underwood, the focus on the dancers, who trade moves while walking down dimly lit streets, makes for a compelling visual.
